With plenty of trees, a river and target size greens, there's challenge for everyone. The 18-hole, grass green course is rated 57 for men and 56 for women. It consists of one par 4 on the front nine and two par 4s on the back nine – the rest are par 3s. There's one par 5 off the front tees. The signature hole is No. 3, a par 3, 168-yard layout that plays over water to a slightly elevated well-treed green. It plays into the prevailing wind most days. Deer Ridge is a place where you can play 9 holes in an hour and a half while your wife is visiting Moose Jaw , The Friendly City and the cultural capital of Canada . The city offers many attractions such as the Murals, the 1920s Tunnels, the Western Development Museum , the Kinsmen Sportsplex indoor swimming complex, the Cultural Centre and Casino Moose Jaw. The course is well-conditioned and has access to plenty of water.
